An experienced litigator, Nicholas J. Santoro has handled cases in a wide variety of civil matters, including contract, tort, real estate, and defense of professional liability claims. He has been lead counsel in numerous trials. Martindale-Hubbell has designated Mr. Santoro as an AV-rated lawyer, which is its highest rating. Mr. Santoro has been recognized for his excellence in commercial litigation by The Best Lawyers in America (2009), Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2005–2008), and Benchmark, America’s Leading Litigation Attorneys (2009). Super Lawyers rated Mr. Santoro as one of the top 75 lawyers in the Mountain States (Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Wyoming) in 2007 and 2008.

Mr. Santoro was born and raised in New York City. His family moved to Las Vegas in 1976, where he has resided ever since. Mr. Santoro attended law school at the University of San Diego and was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 1983.

An active participant in local bar and professional organizations, Mr. Santoro currently serves on the Southern Nevada Disciplinary Board of the State Bar of Nevada and previously was a member of the State Bar’s Fee Dispute Committee. He currently serves as a faculty member with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Mr. Santoro was selected to be a Colleague of the Nevada Law Foundation, an organization consisting of outstanding lawyers who are devoted to the welfare of their community and the legal profession. Mr. Santoro was also actively involved in the Nevada American Inns of Court.

In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Santoro is involved in the local community. He was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the New Horizons Academy, a non-profit school for the learning disabled. At the request of U.S. District Court Judge Lloyd George, he has given the keynote remarks at the naturalization ceremony for our new citizens.
