RICHARD
F. HOLLEY
Richard F. Holley is a
named partner with the law firm of Santoro, Driggs, Walch,
Kearney, Holley & Thompson, where he practices in the areas
of bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Mr. Holley
received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young
University in International Relations with a minor in
Japanese (1984) and his J.D. degree from the J. Reuben Clark
School at Brigham Young University (1987) where he was a
member of the Order of Barristers. Mr. Holley has an
AV Rating by Martindale-Hubble in Bankruptcy and
Creditor-Debtor Rights and has been listed in the Best
Lawyers in America, Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights,
since 1996. Mr. Holley is a long-time member of the
American Bankruptcy Institute and was recently named to the
2007 Nevada Mountain States Super Lawyer List in the
categories of Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Rights.
Mr. Holley has been consistently recognized as one of the
top bankruptcy attorneys in Las Vegas by a number of local
publications. Mr. Holley periodically writes and
speaks on topics which include bankruptcy, business and
commercial law, debtor's rights and creditor's remedies.
Mr.
Holley was a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit
Court of Appeals from 2003 through 2005 serving as Co-Chair
of the Nevada Delegation and member of the Lawyer
Representative Coordinating Committee, the Admission Fund
Committee, and the Federal Court Security Committee.
While serving as a Lawyer Representative, Mr. Holley made
presentations to the annual Circuit Bankruptcy Judges
Conference and to the Ninth Circuit Committee on Pro Hac
Vitae Representation regarding representation of pro se
litigants in contested and adversary proceedings before the
bankruptcy courts. Mr. Holley served as a founding
Board Member and continues to serve as a Committee Member of
the Clark County Pro Bono Project Mid-Case Bankruptcy Panel,
and participates as a volunteer attorney for the panel.
Mr. Holley is a 2006 graduate of the Las Vegas Chamber of
Commerce, Leadership Las Vegas, and was voted by the members
of his class as the Class Valedictorian.
Mr.
Holley is also active in the Las Vegas community. Mr.
Holley served as a Board Member for The Shade Tree, a
homeless women and children shelter, from 1999 through 2006.
During his tenure as a Board Member, Mr. Holley as served as
the treasurer of The Shade Tree from 2003 to 2006. Mr.
Holley was also an inaugural officer of The Shade Tree
Endowment Board and presently serves as a Board Member for
the Endowment. Mr. Holley is also an active leader
with the Boy Scouts of America.
