KIMBERLY J. COOPER

Kim Cooper currently
practices in the firm’s intellectual property
department, focusing in the areas of intellectual
property rights and entertainment law. Kim received her
Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of
Southern California and her Juris Doctorate from the
University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2005. Before
practicing law, Kim spent ten years in the entertainment
industry as a designer, scenic artist, production
coordinator and property master, including six years
with Cirque du Soleil. While attending the Boyd School
of Law, she continued to work full-time at Cirque du
Soleil’s “O”. During law school, Kim took third place
in the Clark County Bar Moot Court Competition and
received two CALI Awards for academic excellence in
Entertainment Law and Rights of Publicity and Privacy.
She was also a founding member of the American
Constitution Society, UNLV chapter.
Prior to joining the
intellectual property group at Santoro Driggs Walch Kearney
Holley & Thompson, Kim primarily practiced in the areas of
Real Estate and Business and Commercial transactions. Kim
is a member of the Nevada Bar and is admitted to practice
before Nevada state courts and the U.S. District Court for
the District of Nevada. She also maintains membership in
the American Bar Association, the International Trademark
Association, the Intellectual Property Section of the Nevada
State Bar and the Forum on Entertainment and Sports
Industries of the American Bar Association. Kim is
Treasurer of the Intellectual Property Section of the Nevada
State Bar, 2008-2009.
