DANIEL L. SCHWARTZ
Daniel L. Schwartz is a graduate of Syracuse University
(B.S. in Broadcast Journalism). In 1993, he received his
J.D. cum laude from the American University in Washington
D.C., where he worked for one of the East Coast's largest
personal injury and workers' compensation firms. Upon
arriving in Las Vegas, Mr. Schwartz worked as an associate
at a leading personal injury firm. He left private practice
to become a Deputy Attorney for Nevada Attorneys for Injured
Workers. Mr. Schwartz returned to private practice in
1994 and joined the Firm in 2002 as a shareholder, responsible
for the Firm’s workers’ compensation issues.
Mr.
Schwartz currently represents insurers, employers, and
self-insured employers in workers’ compensation
and related issues. Among his clients are all areas of
the construction industry, municipalities, manufacturers,
grocery stores, department stores, hotels, casinos, transportation
companies, and health care organizations. He also serves
as workers’ compensation counsel for the Builders
Insurance Company (formerly known as the Nevada Contractor’s
Network), litigating contested industrial insurance claims
for over 550 construction entities. Mr. Schwartz is a
frequent lecturer on development in worker’s compensation
law in Nevada. He is currently a member of the State Bar
of Nevada, the Clark County Bar Association, the Defense
Research Institute, and Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. Mr. Schwartz is also admitted to practice in New Jersey
and Pennsylvania as well as Federal District Courts for
Nevada, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
