CODY T. WINTERTON
Cody T. Winterton
graduated from Brigham Young University in 2001 with a B.A.
in Political Science and a minor in Business. He
attended Willamette University College of Law in Salem,
Oregon where he received his Juris Doctor in May of 2005.
Cody served as an editor for
the Willamette Law Review and was elected to the Willamette
University Moot Court Executive Committee. Cody was
chosen as Willamette's 2004-2005 "Oralist of the Year" for
his performances in trial competitions and was selected as a
national member of The Order of Barristers.
Other law school
accomplishments include: first place in the Willamette
Spaulding Trial Competition, and member of Willamette's trial
team that competed in the Texas Young Lawyers regional moot
court competition. He co-authored Navigability and
Public Use: Between a River Rock and a Hard Place,
published in the Willamette Law Review.
Cody practices in the firm's
condemnation and natural resources department. Cody enjoys golf,
fly fishing, coaching youth soccer, and spending time with
his wife and three children.
