Bryce K. Earl
is a shareholder with Santoro, Driggs, Walch, Kearney,
Holley & Thompson. Mr. Earl
practices primarily in transaction, regulatory, and
prosecutorial matters, such as advising clients and
preparing the appropriate documentation regarding protection
and compliance strategies associated with intellectual
property (copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, service
marks, and trade secrets protection and defense),
information systems/technology (telecommunications,
computer and network systems, software, security, Internet
and domain name protection and compliance strategies),
medical/pharmaceutical (pharmaceutical, HIPAA, and
medical regulations and compliance), promotion
(sweepstakes, contests, and other promotion rules, consents,
and regulations), privacy (HIPAA, GLB, website
privacy policies, and identify theft documentation and
compliance), franchising (Uniform Franchise Offering
Circular, franchise agreement, and registration compliance),
and entity structuring (formation, mergers,
acquisitions (HSR filings), and strategic alliances).
Mr. Earl also has significant technology experience as a
programmer, systems administrator, and software consultant.
Mr.
Earl concentrates on licensing and other transactions
related to intellectual property for a wide range of clients
from start-up organizations to multi-national corporations.
He has prepared and negotiated complex, high profile deals,
including assisting in a client's acquisition by a Fortune
100 corporation, preparing formative international strategic
alliance and licensing agreements, and preparing
pre-acquisition notification filings with the Federal Trade
Commission and Department of Justice.
Mr.
Earl regularly participates as a seminar speaker and panel

Mr.
Earl received his B.A. from Brigham Young University
in 1996, a Masters of Information Systems Management
from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young
University in 2000, and his J.D. from J. Rueben Clark Law
School in 2000. He is a native Nevadan, growing up in
Reno and now living in Las Vegas. He is active in the
community through local and national professional, church,
and civic groups. He is the Chair of the Intellectual
Property Section of the Nevada State Bar and has served on
the Section's executive committee since 2004. He is
also a member of the American Bar Association, Clark County
Bar Association, American Intellectual Property Law
Association, Marriott School of Management Society, and the
J. Rueben Clark Law Society.
Mr.
Earl is pleased to consult with clients and prospective
clients to formulate a plan of action that no only provides
appropriate legal protection, but anticipates long-term
business goals based upon that particular client's needs.
