ANTHONY A. ZMAILA

Anthony A. Zmaila conducts a litigation practice that
encompasses complex business and commercial matters, as
well as creditor’s rights. A veteran litigator,
he has tried matters in both Missouri and Nevada over
his twenty-three-year practice. Following graduation from
St. Louis University School of Law in 1978, he studied

wrote and delivered a paper to the Civil Law Faculty on the
comparative treatment of victims of defective products in
the respective countries. (Later, he would teach Russian for

to the United States in 1979, he practiced in worker’s
compensation and personal injury law.
In
1981, Mr. Zmaila began his career in business law. At
the request of his then Missouri employer, he moved to
Las Vegas, Nevada, as counsel to the company that operated
Dunes Hotel and Casino. He became a member of the Nevada
Bar in 1982. By 1984, he became General Counsel to Dunes
Hotels and Casinos, Inc. As general counsel, he devoted
substantial time to securities issues, gaming issues,
and litigation management.
Mr.

Morris Shenker, Richard Bunker, and Burton Cohen. Mr.
Zmaila joined the firm as “Of Counsel” in
June 2000. He also serves as the firm’s director
